Learning Target: I can analyze the use of rhetorical appeals in an argumentative text and incorporate rhetorical appeals while generating an argument.

Opening Session: Sub Attendance!

Work Session: Do activity 2.20 in the book on page 178. Start at the beginning, read everything on all the pages, read the speech, do the Second Read questions, and start the “Drafting the Embedded Assessment” on page 180.

Closing Session: Clean up the room and thank the sub!
